This year, the 20th Banja Luka challenger ‘Srpska Open’ will be held in Mladen Stojanović Park, where tennis players from 24 countries will compete, and the winner of the
tournament will earn 80 ATP points.

The jubilee 20th edition of the challenger ‘Srpska Open’ will be held from 22-28 August in Banja Luka, and the spectators of the largest city of Republic of Srpska will have an
opportunity to enjoy top tennis for seven days.

The President of the RS Tennis Association (RS TS) and the tournament director, Drasko Milinovic, at the first press conference ahead of this year's tournament, emphasized
that the preparations are going as planned and that everything will be ready for the start of the qualifications.

“Preparations are going well and everything will be ready for the end of August. As you know, in agreement with the ATP, the date of this year’s tournament was moved and
will be played from 22-28 August. We hope for the good weather, so everything we are planning to do at the National Tennis Centre would go as smoothly as possible, and we
are convinced that we will be watching top-class tennis in Banja Luka”, said Milinović.

The winner of the tournament which is taking place in Mladen Stojanovic park will earn 80 ATP points, the same as last year’s winner.

The jubilee challenger is held along with the 30th anniversary of the Tennis Association of Republic of Srpska, and on that occasion a formal academy will be held on 24 August at
the National Theater of the RS.

The challenger offers 80 ATP points again this year. We decided to stay at that level as the prize pools for more points are much higher. We are negotiating to make it 125 next
year, which is the highest level of a challenger. We plan to make some more infrastructural additions in our tennis centre and create all the conditions that meet the
strict ATP standards, so that we can go to bigger tournaments”, said Milinović.

The Secretary of TS RS Dragan Dragičević also thanked the institutions for their wholehearted assistance, as well as the general sponsor, Company m:tel. He introduced
the participants with the tennis players who will arrive in the town on Vrbas river at the end of August, in order to present themselves to the Banja Luka audience.
